Not everything old is archival.

How We Verify

Every piece is individually examined before entering the Atelier.

We review its construction, materials, labels, hardware, serial numbers, date codes and other identifying details where applicable. We also consider its known production period and compare it with credible archival references.

When original packaging, authenticity materials or purchase records are available, they are disclosed with the piece.

What Provenance Means

Authenticity tells you a piece is genuine.

Provenance tells you what is known about its history.

Not every vintage object retains a complete paper trail. We will never invent one. What is known will be stated clearly. What cannot be verified will not be presented as fact.

Condition, Clearly

Vintage fashion carries evidence of its past.

Wear, alterations and restoration are assessed, photographed and disclosed. We present each piece honestly—without erasing the life it has already lived.
