Purchase Policy
By accessing and using the Bespoke Atelier website, you agree to the terms set out below.
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Bespoke Atelier website, including browsing, subscribing, creating an account, and making purchases. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Bespoke Atelier reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and the current version will always be published on this page.
You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the site. You must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious material, or by attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site or its related systems. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
Bespoke Atelier specialises in vintage, archival, and pre-loved luxury fashion. Every piece is carefully curated, authenticated, and described to the best of our knowledge. Condition, provenance, era, and any notable wear are disclosed in each listing. However, because these items are often one-of-a-kind and decades old, minor variations, age-related patina, and historical imperfections are to be expected and are part of the item’s character. Photographs are true to colour and detail within the limits of display calibration.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it; completion of checkout and payment authorisation is required to secure a purchase. Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where indicated. We accept payment through the secure payment providers available at checkout. Bespoke Atelier does not store complete payment-card details. Orders may be cancelled before dispatch only if shipment preparation has not begun; once dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. In the unlikely event that an item is listed incorrectly or becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative, a full refund, or store credit. Where an item has been marked down or included in a promotion, the discounted price applies only for the duration and under the conditions stated.
We ship locally and internationally using trusted couriers. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, inspections, or courier delays. Title to and risk in the goods pass to you once the item is delivered to the address provided at checkout. Clients are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by the destination country. Please review our Shipping page for full details.
Due to the rare, limited, and collectible nature of our pieces, all sales are final unless an item has been materially misrepresented in its listing. Return requests in exceptional circumstances must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photographic evidence. Bespoke Atelier reserves sole discretion in determining whether a request qualifies for review. Full details are set out on our Returns page.
Where accounts are available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to disable accounts where false information is provided or where suspicious activity is detected.
All content on this site, including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, and product photography, is the property of Bespoke Atelier or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any material from the site without prior written consent.
Bespoke Atelier provides the site and its contents on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or purchase of any item, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that item.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, and both parties submit to that jurisdiction. We encourage clients to contact us first so that disputes can be resolved amicably where possible.
Bespoke Atelier may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our operations, or the site. The date of the most recent update will be shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact us at privateclient@atelierbybespoke.com or by mail at The Bare Barrier, trading as Bespoke Atelier, 70 Leander Road, Olympus, Pretoria, 0081, South Africa.
